***My cRaZY TrIP***

Hiiieeeeeeee again!
Omg, its been so long since I blogged, kind of missed the feel.
I went to Indonesia with my family just this week, and honestly I had a great time : ) So many things happened, I really haven't a clue how I can note them all down, but I'll try, so bear with me ok?
We had to take a ferry to Indonesia from the Singapore Ferry Terminal.
After immigration we boarded the ferry. The ferry consisted of the upper deck and the lower deck.
The upper deck was for smokers, the lower deck non-smokers.
So we settled down in the lower deck and waited for the ferry to start moving.
The lower deck was air-conditioned. In less than half-an-hour, my sis and I simply could not stand the cold longer and begged our dad to bring us to the upper deck for just a little while.
He agreed, so up we went.
The upper deck was Huge!
And there was hardly anyone smoking, only people enjoying the breeze. Did I say breeze? More like a typhOOn,it was so WINDY, i LOVED Itt.
Omg, only after that do I truly understand the phrase " Wind in my hair"
It was a fantstic experience. We were able to see Singapore ( which was quite far away though) but the CBD area was most prominent. We saw the BACK of the merlion, HEHes and five dragon boats. Honestly they loked quite scary in the distance.
The ferry ride was only 50 mins but it honestly didnt feel like it. If I had not had a watch, I could have sworn it had been much longer. This is what I dont get, time is suppose to pass quickly when one is having fun, my sis and I had agreat time, but time didnt seem to be in much of hurry.
We finally alighted(luggage and all) and after imigration looked around the terrminal for the car that was suppose to bring us to the hotL( dont ever hire a cab in Indonesia, Its very dangerous esp for tourists) so my dad hired the hotel car, but the person who is suppose to drive us bak was NOwhEre to be seen.
TYPICAl.
Or that's what i thought..
There was a man holding a sign with the name (hamIn), my Dad's name is Hameem.
After walking round and round, we suspected that that was probably the driver, we were right, he pronounced my dad's name alright but it was the spelling that was out of this world. That's what I noticed, the diffrence between Malay words and Indonesian words, The prononciation is quite alike, its the spelling that's world's apart.
We finally reached Harris Resort.
Two words to describe the resort?
FunKy and FuN
As in honestly!
The receptionist were wearing Hawaii Shirts and A huGe smile on their faces. They joked with us, and I even saw them playing with children. The resort deco was the best part.
Everything was so artistic, in a funky sort of way. There were four walls specially for graffiti, a huge corner specially for children with wacky furniture and they had games for tourists to get to know one another evrey night. Its was AwseOme!!!
My most favourite part was the smimming pool!
Honestly I would not exactly call it a pool, more like a little island on its own!
THere was a special area to play water soccer with goals and everything, another area where water shot out such that ur back( or anywhere else for that matter) got massaged(like a gigantic jacuzzi or something), another are with slides and a diving board. THe best part was that everything was connected and the water for most areas wasn't too deep nor too shallow!. There was also this bridge across that you walk on and take pictures. The swimiing pool connected to the sea so there was this part where the water was salty. I lOVED IT!!!
The next day we decided to go on a guided tour of the island.
The first area we visited was the sea sport area where my dad tried out this awseome sport, sky-diving, it was so COOl!! (my mum said it was too dangerous for me and she didnt want me flying off to Neptune....)right....
Anyway my dad tried it out and it looked like so much FUN!!!
when he came down, he looked nothing short of wind-swept! : )
The next destination, go-cart track!
I could try it!
Hehes
My dad and I and a few other tourists tried it, I obviously have never driven before, but that was one of the best things I have ever tried out! I did not even hit the hedges at the side!!
Ok... May be once? Ok twice, Yups twice that was it! : )))
The next stop, seafood palace..
One word..EEEEWWWWWWWW
You guys know how much I hate seafood right?
omg, there was crab, Fish, lobster and SNAILLL
Well, I thought it was snail at first... turned out to be cockrels...
Anyway the point is that, I lost my appetitte and ended up eating fried spinach, tofu soup and rice.
Being a vegetarian had never felt so good, esp with a fish head and gigantic crab pincers pointing my way.
After 'lunch' we went to watch this iNonesian folk"dance".
I thought it was just gonna be peole is masks dancing around, I have NEVER been more wrong in my liFe.
They didnt just dance, I experienced first hand how glass is munched like some beakfast bar and charcoals on fire chewed like meatballs.
I was astounded, amazed and well.. a little bit disgusted.
One of the dancers then came around and encouraged people to take a glass piece and feed the man who was eating the glass.
When it was my turn, i did nothing but stare at the man as though he had gone cuckoo, he just laughed. =_='
After that we went to the biggest Mall in the area( that's what was stated in the phamplet"
Had MACDONALDS( yes people, rEAL food) and headed back to the hotel.
The next few days were spent doing a little shopping, SmimmING, visting the Asian Arts museum and more shopping.
That's mainly it : )
But I honestly miss my friends, and for some reason I keep remembering them In Indonesia.
For example:
*Saw quite a number of cats--------> Reminded me of Val
*Saw a dancer with LOOONG finger nails----> reminded me of Ilma
*Saw a black pig---------> YanFen's keychain
*Cruise------> SOnika of course
*Ice-cream soda-----> VIVIEn,of course!!hehess
Cant wait to see you guys again!! Havent gone so long with chatting with at least one of you!
But as soon as I came back, heard some grave news, or yes, teRribLe, Guzheng postponed to Wednesday
