Before It’s Too Late…
Stern and firm on the outside
But warm and loving in the inside.
That was our Mrs. Hyde
The loving side she hardly showed
For strict was what she was
But in her dedication it glowed
Thus for my success she was the cause
Graduation came and went.
Tears were wept
Separate ways we all went
Set backs, I met
Regrets I had
But hope I never gave up
For that was what our Mrs. Hyde taught
Promotions, there were many
Money there were plenty
But something was still missing
Mrs. Hyde I yearned to see.
Thank you I wanted to say to her
For here I would not be if it weren’t for her
But my work stood between my wish and me
Seasons changed
As the flower bloomed and blossomed
And the first snowflake fell
But still I had not met Mrs. Hyde
Then came a day
A most unfortunate day
I finally was able to visit her
But it was too late
For that very day,
A funeral was being held for her
The regret and disappointment I felt then
There simply are no words to describe
But please from this learn:
Life is like a candle in the wind
So seize the day
Before it’s too late.
This is DedicaTed to MR.Edwin Ong
He isnt Dead yet, but he is presently overseas.
He was the one who woke me up and made
me realise that I had a future to work for.
Thank You Sir, For all your encouragement and guidance.
