***********Crazy Teenagers?**********
Heya : )
I was reading a few other blogs and i realised that many adults seem to have this idea that teenagers have frequent MAJOR mood swings and do not have faith in practically Anything.
I honestly, havent a clue where they got this idea from, but i beg to differ.
I find it rather unfair that they classify all teenagers as Lazy and Aimless just because of some rotten fruits.
Their OPTIMISTIC opinion of teenagers inspired me to write this.
Please do not get the wrong idea that im suffering from deppression, cuz i'm Not
I once had a good life
A free life
I didnt have a care in the world
The world cared for me
Wrong and right
were as clear as black and white
Troubles there were none
My life was as bright as the sun
But then things began to change
My life began to fade
Is wrong-Right or Wrong
Is right-Wrong or Right?
Everything is becoming a blur
Nothing is quite clear
Deppressed and confused
I dont know what to do
he world that once cared for me,
Is now turning against me
No one cares
No one shares
No One's there...
I understand when adults say that at this period ,we teenagers are abit confused. We might have gotten off the right path a few times and made mistakes, for we are not perfect.
But the thing is...Who is?
We are trying our best to prepare and defend ourselves from the Harsh world we will one day enter, That's waiting for us, And the same time, learning to make a diffrence in the lives of the people around us.
We appreciate your want to guide us, and understand that you only have our best interest at heart, but please encourage us as we learn to grow and mature, and do not undermine us or our efforts.
I find myself very fortunate that I have parents who understand this and have always ALwaYs supported and encouraged me to achieve and realise my fullest potential.
I know you guys are no less fortunate, read between the lines of your parents actions, and you will see what I mean.
As for the other adults, who seem to be lacking faith in our abilities, lets prove to them that we really are the future of tomorrow, and WILL make it a bright one : )
